Creative Mitt Blocking

I just finished my first Orchid Lace Mitt in Fearless Fibers Golden Olive, and had to get a little creative with the blocking. I wanted to make sure the lace pattern opened up a bit.
I knew those giant US50 needles would come in handy some day - I stuck two of those suckers in and pinned them open, voila! Perfect mitt blocking! This is the extra-long mitt style, I already cast on for the second one and I hope to get it finished soon.
