Anne Hanson of Knitspot (designer of the popular Delicato mitts) has a new pattern called Snow on Cedars. I used a new-t0-me sock yarn from Araucania Yarns. More cedar than snow in the colorway, but lovely shades for late autumn.
Anne's attention to detail in writing her patterns never ceases to amaze me. In this case it's a very precise way of shifting stitches from needle to needle as the lace pattern shifts so that the pattern on each needle is consistent. Makes for fast lace knitting.
