so, i'm almost done with my second pair of fetching, and i'm a bit peeved at the lovely Debbie Bliss. These cashmerino aran balls really vary in actual yardage, it seems--while my first pair was completed with just one ball (and little to spare, as the designer warns), my second pair ran out during the hand bind-off and before the thumb! arg!
luckily, i'm making these in black so a new ball won't be noticable or anything, dye lot-wise. but still, pretty annoying that i have to break into a new ball just for the end. *sigh*
