I made these fingerless mitts for my daughter last winter. It is a free pattern on the net. I do not know where at the moment but I am sure someone will recognize it.
I used Lionbrand white sparkles yarn - size 7 needles as she is very thin and has thin long hands - came out perfect. She loves them. She wants fingers next time.

Oh yeah I've made those as well. Those were the first pair I made for myself I believe. Love those. So pretty in white!
