First Mitts


Fingerless Mitts - my first attempt at making mitts of any sort. Let's call them "practice" mitts.

Pretty colors! That's a great basic pattern for a beginner. I'd say you are ready for more complex patterns. I found that once I started making these, it was hard to stop! There are so many great patterns and yarns to try out there. Happy knitting!

don't you just love these? this pattern is simple & yet so well written. i like the thumb shaping...this fits my hand much better than fetching.
