Pumpkin Spice Knucks

Named for the pumpkin spice latte I drank on Sunday morning as I finished these gloves, and which made me realize that the pretty yarn, with its deep orange color and dark tweedy flecks, really could not have been more evocative of "Pumpkin Spice".

I made the ladies size and used about 1/2 a ball of Rowan Felted Tweed in Ginger (as Rowan incorrectly calls it). I chose the textured cuff and did three pattern repeats. These are for my mother-in-law, but I kind of want to keep them!

Nanda asked in the comments what "tattoos" I had put on previous Knucks that I've made. I've actually never added anything. I tried to do some spiraly design on my first pair, but got frustrated with my extremely crappy embroidery skills and gave up. So it's been plain Knucks for me since then.

yay! i love them and you've convinced me to make some (actually, the tattoos turned me off, cuz my embroidery sucks or at least doesn't really interest me). good job!
